In a unexpected collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Revealed

According to the authorized release, "A strange confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of banned rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Content

Players who finish the adventure will receive an unique katana alongside numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
