Football Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Reward for Lost Pet in Mexican Territory to £15k
Wales soccer player Aaron Ramsey has boosted the incentive for details concerning the vanished pet Halo to £15k.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now is with Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
the dog, who vanished on October 9th, was wearing a tracking device, and the footballer published a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any updates about our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Big bounty for locating her. We are all praying she is unharmed and can be back with us shortly," the athlete posted on Instagram.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Pleas
The footballer first announced that Halo had gone missing 14 days prior and has subsequently posted numerous images of the adored dog on Instagram.
A seven thousand five hundred pound reward was initially provided, but with lack of updates on the dog's whereabouts after a seven days, the player and his loved ones raised the sum.
"We just want our girl home," he expressed in another request on his online platforms after the elderly pet disappeared.
The latest photograph post is a monochrome photo of Halo napping, its head lying in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the description: "How I wish to embrace you one last time Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
The footballer has also posted a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on online channels mentioning they have a few "serious concerns" surrounding the incident and are concerned the household "may never receive clarity".
"We still have not located our dog. It is unlikely we ever will," the spouse's update read.
The Welsh skipper signed with Mexican first division club Pumas UNAM recently and had his debut in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the first prominent British Isles athlete to compete in the Mexican league.
