Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Online Gaming GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
