The carrier is introducing no-cost fast onboard wifi via satellite deal

Travelers flying with British Airways can soon enjoy fast connectivity in the air free of charge following a recent agreement from Elon Musk's communications firm.

No-cost plus Fast Connectivity Across the Board

The carrier announced that this free, “fast and dependable” wifi provision via SpaceX becomes accessible to travelers flying coach, business, and premium cabins from next month.

Widespread Rollout Throughout Various Carriers

The umbrella company for British Airways, the airline group, confirmed it had finalized an partnership involving SpaceX for providing connectivity coverage for over 500 jets within the group's operators, including Aer Lingus, the Spanish carrier, and Vueling.

Smooth Connectivity from Gate through Arrival

The airline stated that this rollout of this technology was included in a seven billion pound “transformation” plan and will offer uninterrupted connectivity service for flyers from boarding through arrival, even when traveling above large bodies of water or far-off locations.

Passengers may hook up numerous gadgets while do not need a separate password.

Current Wifi Services

Restricted internet access remains provided to BA passengers through the majority of its aircraft via the .air service.

Participants in the airline's loyalty club may transmit texts and text-based messages in the air without paying, while travelers looking to access music, movies, or films during their flight and are not travelling in first class may pay between four pounds ninety-nine to £21.99 per connectivity plan.
